The list of winners of the 63rd National Film Aw ards, released on Monday morning, was a bolt out of the blue for Tollywood. Only one Bengali film -Goutam Ghose's unreleased Sankhachil -has managed to make a cut, that too, as the inevitable Best Bengali Film. And this, coming after two bumper harvests of National Awards for the regional industry in as many years, is a mite disappointing. That, of course, doesn't mean Bengalis haven't shone elsewhere.
